A Snapshot of… June

Snapshot of June - feature

Ok, who stole June? I can’t believe it’s July, can someone please make time slow down and send us some sun please.

Here is our snapshot of June…

My Alice…

Snapshot June - Alice

This month saw you go on your first visit to your new school ready to start in September and you loved it. We tried on some school uniform and you met your teachers. You are excited about going back next week on your own and this makes me happy. Whilst I might not be ready for you to go, you are definitely ready to go.

You love…

To take your new bag everywhere with you

To eat the ice lollies that we made

To play with Holly and include her in your games

Your new school uniform and talk about wearing it all the time

Little Holly…

Snapshot - June - Holly

I just can’t believe you are twenty two months old and my baby is growing up. You don’t stand still and literally run everywhere. I am totally loving the age you are at the moment, completely and utterly adorable little monkey.

You love…

Your sister, when you see her after preschool you run with your arms wide out shouting Alice and straight in your a cuddle

You still love a swing as much as you did the first time you went in, on a trip to the park its all you want to do

To draw, you have found a love for colouring and while you may not sit for long, you ask to do it often

Shoes! You will sit for ages working out how to thread them through and do them up

What I have loved…

I love nothing more than little bottles of products to try and recently Mustela sent us their range to try out. We have been trying the Mustela Dermo-Cleansing at bath time, which has a tear free formula and we have definitely had no tears. The girls have been coming out smelling lovely and clean.

We’ve loved using the Mustela products and if we had discovered them when the girls were babies we would have chosen to use them from birth.

As we get closer to the end of the school term, it’s time to buy a thank you present for Alice’s teachers. Thankfully Monty Bojangles came to my rescue with a selection of moreish truffles, to say thank you to the teachers. The Monty Bojangles range includes eight deliciously scrumptious flavours, each with an exciting twist from popping candy to crumbled cookie.

They are guaranteed to put a smile on Alice’s teachers face at the end of a busy term and Alice loves the brightly coloured boxes. Of course I should probably not have shown Alice until closer to the end of term, as she asks every time if she can take them with her yet!

What we got up to…

June has been a really mixed month of emotions, my beautiful nan sadly passed away and I am still feeling her loss so much. It was my birthday and Fathers Day on the same day and we managed to have a lovely family day. And its ended with a few days away with my parents, which is just what we all needed.

My favourite moment…

My favourite moment was at the start of June when the sun was shining and I took my girls out to the local castle. I just adore all the pictures I took of them on this sunny afternoon. But I think this one is my favourite…

Let’s hope July goes a bit slower, I am not ready for Alice to leave preschool and start her next big journey!

Disclosure: We were sent the products from Mustela and Monty Bojangles for the purpose of this post, however all opinions are my own.

Oh eek, I’ve got to buy nursery gifts too. It’s all going much too quickly isn’t it? I hope you’ve had a lovely break, how odd that we’re in the same place and didn’t realise!

Those truffles sound perfect – I don’t think they’d last until the end of term if I had them! From a teacher’s standpoint, they’ll certainly appreciate them!

Aww, bless Alice. It sounds like she is very excited for school, which does help make things easier for you. And Holly loving swings, I love that they love simple fun things like this. #PicknMix
