This month is birthday month for us with both Alice and Holly’s birthday’s ten days apart. This is super handy when it comes to birthday parties because I can do a joint party for them with friends and family, which they love.
The not so handy part is buying presents, it can be an expensive month for us. Oh and I should probably mention it’s also Andy’s birthday right in the middle of their’s. So, I have three important birthday’s within ten days, lucky me!
I try and plan ahead and spread the cost of their birthday presents and every year I am grateful that it’s far enough away from Christmas, otherwise that would be even more expensive.
This year I have been trying to find a t-shirt for them both with their ages on, as I thought it would be super cute for some family photos. Now, I thought this would be really easy to find, but no of course it isn’t, nothing ever is. There isn’t many places that sell them and the ones that do just aren’t in the girls style or they are just a bit plain.
I was chatting to a friend about it at the park and she came up with the idea of getting a personalised t-shirt done, then I could design it perfectly for both the girls. What a clever friend I have and that night I started designing some ideas for t-shirts.
Of course for Alice is has to be pink if I ever want her to wear it and for Holly I can be a bit more creative, but I also want it to compliment Alice’s.
Personalised t-shirts are a great option and with places like Fire Label branded t-shirts, it is really easy to bring your own designs to life and at affordable prices.
I think I may have started a yearly tradition for us. Do you like personalised clothes or gifts?
