Afternoon Tea, Cinema Trip and Quality Time with My Girls…Happy Days #21

Happy Days #21

Today is Alice’s fourth birthday and so to begin with I wish my beautiful girl a happy birthday!

We’ve been on full birthday countdown all week and I am slight relieved for it to finally arrive. But with Holly also over the chicken pox, we’ve had a fun week.

 Lets talk happy moments…

bullet heartOn Sunday it was my friends surprise birthday afternoon tea and I had a lovely afternoon chatting and eating lots of yummy scones and cake.

Alice has only been to the cinema once before to see the Peppa Pig Golden Boot special episode and I thought she was now old enough to sit through a whole film. Plus I really wanted to see Finding Dory and I took along Alice and my niece. They both loved, ok we all loved it.

bullet heartAlice and I had a lovely trip to the swimming pool with our friends. Alice is really confident in the water now and it makes me really happy to see her swimming without me holding onto her. Those swimming lessons have really helped her.

The girls and I visited The Vyne and it’s not very often that it is just the three of us on a day out. We either have Andy with us or friends and family. Just spending time playing and chatting to them was the perfect way to spend some time after we have been house bound for so long!

bullet heartMy mum and I made the girls birthday cake for their party and I was so relieved and happy once we had finished. Alice has been saying she wanted a Hello Kitty cake since her last birthday, don’t ask me why, it popped in her head and that is what she wants. I hope we did ok and she likes it…keep an eye out for a picture coming soon!

We have Alice and Holly’s joint birthday party today and the girls are so excited. Alice even more so because it’s on her actual birthday, as she keeps reminding me. Have a lovely weekend everyone and I think I will be collapsing in a heap by the end of this one…
