Cousins, Vlogmas and Proud Moments… Happy Days #36

happy-days-36

I’m not going to lie it’s been a tough week with the house move. There have been a few moments where I have thought what are we doing, but it will be worth it when we get there. Finally yesterday it all came together and we exchanged contracts and we move next week. It’s all been a whirlwind, but we are now really excited and can’t wait to be in our lovely new home.

Let’s talk happy moments…

Number One

Last Sunday we met up with most of my cousins and their families. We haven’t seen each other socially for so long and it was really nice to see everyone. We met at an ice skating rink central to us all. I took the girls on the ice on my own. Thankfully they had a penguin for Alice and a seal that I could sit Holly on. Everyone helped me out and took a turn pushing Holly round, she loved it.

Number Two

The girls had their flu vaccinations this week and they were both brilliant. The nurse thought they were both very brave and I was a proud mummy.

Number Three

Holly and I met our friends at soft play one morning. We haven’t been for ages and Holly was so much more capable since the last time we were there. She loved it and even went down the big slide on her own, with mummy following. She definitely has my dare devil gene.

Number Four

I’ve decided to attempt to do Vlogmas this year, which is probably a little bit crazy with me moving house. But, I really want to improve my videos and this seems like a great way to do it. The lovely Aby came over this week and we filmed a couple of videos together. It was so much fun and it got me into the Christmas spirit.

Number Five

I went into Alice’s school to sit and read with her. It was a chance for all the parents to go in and it was really lovely to see her in her new environment. She was very excited to see me and I am always so grateful that I am able to do these things.

This weekend is another busy one for us. We are sorting the house out today and then tomorrow we are very lucky to be heading to LaplandUK. I am so excited and can’t wait to see the girls faces.

Congratulations on exchanging! Eek It’a all really happening! I’m so excited for Vlogmas, I think we’re going to give it a go to (I’ll probably fail haha I’m not very good at sticking at things). But I’m mostly excited to watch everyone’s videos, I’ll be there for hours every nightbgday tying through them haha. Have an amazing time tomorrow, Lapland uk looks magical xx

Good luck with the move and vlogmas. I’m not sure I’d be able to do that, what with work (I’ve been roped into editing our team’s conference video) and everything else. But it’s definitely a good way to practice.
