Portugal in Pictures…Our Holiday

A few weeks ago we went on holiday to Portual, our first time abroad as a family of four. Thanks to the bags of tricks I packed for the girls, the plane journeys went well, no tears from anyone.

We stayed at the Pine Cliffs Resort in Olhos d’Agua and it really was the most beautiful place. They have a hotel on site, apartments or Villas, so there is something for everyone. We opted for a villa, to give us more flexibility around meals and more importantly Andy and I didn’t have to sit in a room every night, in the dark and not talking!

Andy was a bit apprehensive about going abroad with two children, but we had such a wonderful time.  In fact we had such a brilliant time, he said he would go back again in a heart beat, result!

Here is our holiday in pictures!

Excitement at the airport…

Fun in the pool…

The pool was definitely the biggest hit…

We work so hard for our holidays that when they don’t live up to expectation, it’s a real shame, so I’m glad it went perfectly for you all.

What lovely photos. I haven’t taken my girls abroad yet, except for a few days in Paris with Libby as a baby so I’ll be coming to you for tips when I do, looks like you had a fab time.

Gorgeous photos! It looks like you had such a wonderful time. I’m all about a villa holiday – no worrying about disturbing anyone else, no huddling in the bathroom with a bottle of wine and hushed voices! So pleased you all had a wonderful trip.
