An Interview with Alice…Age Four!

Alice turns four at the weekend, how that is even possible I am not sure. She is the one that made me a mummy and I still have to pinch myself that I am a mummy to two gorgeous girls.

With Holly coming down with chicken pox last week, I was searching on Pinterest for some activities to do with Alice to keep her entertained while we were house bound again! I came across an interview for a four year old on their birthday and I thought what a great idea and perfect timing.

While Holly was napping Alice and I did the interview, oh how I wish I had videoed it (mummy fail!).

This is how it went….

Mummy – What is your favourite Colour?

Alice – Have you forgotten mummy? It’s pink. Let me ask you now, what is your favourite colour?

Mummy – You can ask mummy in a minute let me just ask you a few more questions. What is your favourite toy?

Alice – My pink bunny, the one with the carrot

Mummy – What is your favourite food?

Alice – Chicken with ham and mushrooms. And carrots mummy, don’t forget the carrots!

Mummy – What do you love about Holly?

Mummy – What are you going to buy Holly for her birthday?

Alice – A tea set. You know the one I like!

Holly wakes up and mummy is saved from thinking up more questions on the spot!

Some answers were totally predictable, some random and some made my heart ache…

I loved doing it with Alice and I might to an interview with Holly for her birthday in a couple of weeks. Now that will be fun!

What a great idea! My daughter can barely speak yet, but I love the idea of interviewing her on her birthday to see how she changes from year to year. It’s so sweet that her sister is her best friend! #BloggerClubUK

Ah I love interviews with kids. I just did one with my three year old that I’m posting next week. Their answers can be so adoreable. It’s great to get an insight into their little minds. #bloggerclubuk

This is a great idea. It’s something you could do every year and then compare the answers to see how they change. #bloggerclubuk

Oh this is a lovely idea! I’ve seen a few different sorts of interviews on Facebook that people have done with little ones and I think it would be fun to do it with mine.
