“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

My photo of Alice this week is from a crazy bath time. The girls were in a silly mood and I ended up drenched. Alice is quite a serious little girl and I love that Holly brings out the silliness in her.

Last week, Holly and I spent more time at home than normal. It was just so chilly, that we wanted to stay in the warm. Holly just loves to play with her toys and she is always so content. I get made a lot of cups of coffee and birthday cake!

That’s what bath times are for ! a good old soaking. If only you could eat that much cake in real life without putting on any weight. Lovely photo’s of both your girls. #LivingArrows

Such a fab picture with the bubbles around her. It was very cold last week, coffee and cake sounds amazing. #livingarrows

Sometimes the bubble bath fun and silliness…including getting drenched is the best memory! Being content indoors is always great too. #LivingArrows

I think winter days are just made for staying in and having lots of tea and cake, even if it’s just pretend! Love Holly’s bunches in her photo too, so cute! x #LivingArrows

I used to love bathtime with my sister too. I was always a serious child like Alice and my sister definitely brought out my silly side – we used to play a game we called ‘feet fight’, where we’d sit at opposite ends of the bath and put our feet together and each take turns to push the other one up against their end of the bath – water would go everywhere! #LivingArrows

That’s a fab bath picture – both mine have just started to really enjoy baths together, it’s so much easier now no-one is crying! I love that picture of Holly playing with her kitchen – Toby loves making me cup of tea too. I wonder how long it will be before I can teach him to make real tea? 🙂 #LivingArrows
