“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

How nice was it starting the week with a Bank Holiday? My photos this week are all about the sunny days we have been enjoying. Summer I can nearly see you…

We took an afternoon walk to our local park, it was just too nice to stay indoors this week. Alice kept telling me to go faster and also that this is a funny roundabout mummy!

We also spent some time out in the garden this week. I just can’t believe what a difference a year makes, this time last year Holly was nine months old and crawling. She would enjoy a swing, but most of the summer was spent on the rug playing with toys. This week, it was like a brand new garden to her. Her eyes lit up and she was into everything. This summer will be spent with eyes in the back of my head… She loved the trampoline and was bouncing round saying ‘boing, boing’

We’ve also been enjoying the weather and spending a lot of time outside! It’s been SO lovely, I hope it stays nice. They grow up so fast, a year truly does make all the difference. xx

Doesn’t a bit of sunshine make all the difference? It so nice being able to let them play in the garden and burn off some energy. Your little one looks like she’s really concentrating on the trampoline!

It’s bliss being able to get them into the sunshine and to see how they’ve grown and progressed to bigger things in the year. Lovely sunny photos. #livingarrows
