Phew, I have made it to the end of a our crazy birthday month!
I have Alice, Holly’s and Andy’s birthday’s within ten days of each other and it can feel like I am on the birthday rollercoaster. With presents, cakes, parties, days out and celebrations, it can be a bit overwhelming at times.
But it also means that we get to have lots of fun over the summer holidays and there is also a good supply of cake in our house.
The girls just loved their ballerina and pirate party, we invited their ballet teacher along and she did an amazing job at entertaining all the children. The party was on Alice’s birthday and it was a full on day of celebrations, she went to bed a very happy four year old girl. Four can’t believe it!
On Holly’s birthday the sun was shining and we took a day to Peppa Pig World. We’ve been twice before, but this is the first time that Holly has really been able to properly join in and get excited about it. She loves ‘pig’ as she calls it and her favourite is Georgie.
Her little face kept lighting up as we walked around and saw all the rides and figures from the programme. It was the perfect day out for my little two year old girl. (stop growing up Holly!)
In between the girls birthday’s we had a quiet weekend planned, to catch our breath and get ready for birthday number three. It was a miserable rainy weekend, with showers on and off, but we decided to head to a forest for a walk about forty minutes from home.
I grabbed my camera and whilst I didn’t plan to take my Me and Mine photos while we were there. When we started walking it was so peaceful and the girls were in a fun mood wanting me to take photos of them. I quickly set my camera up to capture some of us all.
Our family during a birthday month for my three loves….
