Review: ASDA’s Little Angels Nappies…

You would think after changing nappies for nearly four years I would be a nappy expert? Well I am happy to take the title of nappy changing expert, I can get a nappy on any wriggly baby or toddler in super quick time. But, I don’t think I have quite cracked being an expert in which brand or type of nappy is the best!

ASDA recently got in touch with the results from a recent Mother and Baby Magazine survey 2016…

“Not only did Little Angels out-perform Pampers and Aldi Mamia in all categories in a recent survey, ranking highest in terms of value for money/price, overall quality and absorbency, but they were also voted the preferred nappy brand”

After reading this, I jumped at the chance to give them a test run!

We were sent the Little Angels Supreme Protection nappies, which Asda says is the softest, most absorbent nappy in the range and it’s the ideal nappy choice for daytime and night-time.

So, we put them to the test during the day and overnight.

Holly doesn’t stay still for long, she runs everywhere, she climbs everywhere, she is my little adventurer and I need a nappy that is going to give the flexibility across her legs, whilst staying where it should be and giving her protection.

The design of the nappy did not let me down, it has super stretchy sides and a secure back elastic. There was no way this nappy was going to move and we have had no leaks at all.

They have a cute lion design on the front and back. When Holly saw them she started shouting ‘roar’, which was very funny!

What I really like about these nappies and something that I have not seen before, is that it features a ‘size-up guide’. The new frontal band design features a helpful colour-coded waistband which helps you to recognise when it’s time for your baby or toddler to move up a size.

This I was really impressed with, as I always seem to leave it to the point where we have a leak and I think ‘oops, probably time to move you up a size’. No more leaks for me now!

A real test of any nappy and probably one I care about the most, is the performance at night.

Since Holly turned sixteen months she has been sleeping through the night, with the occasional wake up, but generally we don’t hear from her anymore. So, a nappy that is going to keep her dry and not leak is what I need, like most parents I’m sure.

ASDA claim that the Little Angels Supreme Protection nappies provide superior comfort with up to twelve hours of dryness. This was music to my ears!

Holly has worn these nappies for five nights now and we have not experienced any leaks, plus I noticed that in the mornings the nappy doesn’t feel too heavy. Holly hasn’t been desperate for me to change it, like she sometimes does. Pointing at it and saying ‘nappy mummy’.

Overall, I was really impressed with these nappies. I liked the features that they had, they fitted Holly perfectly and they haven’t leaked. That ticks a lot of boxes for me when it comes to the perfect nappy…

ASDA are giving one lucky reader the chance to try some Little Angels nappies and will be sent 3 packs of nappies. Just complete one or more entries on the Rafflecopter below and please read my giveaway disclaimer first before entering. Good luck!

Disclosure: We were provided the nappies from ASDA for the purpose of this review, however all opinions are my own.

I used to use Asda nappies all the time but we had quite a few packs with loads of nappies where the sticky tabs didn’t work! After one of those being my last one while we were out and having to be creative, I haven’t gone back to them again yet.

I haven’t changed a nappy in awhile now, after all, T is turning six in August. But yes, I think we’ve tried Asda’s nappies too. I think we’ve tried everything, but I honestly don’t remember if we had any faves 😉 Your little one is such a cutie! x

These sound great, I’ve always used pampers out of habit. They fitted Monkey Perfectly but Kipper seems to have a different shape, will be checking these out 🙂 thanks x
