Review: The Perfect Party…

We are heading towards the busiest month of the year for me. In August I have both my daughters and my husband’s birthday, crazy isn’t it!

My girls birthday’s are ten days apart and last year I did a joint princess and pirate party for them which they loved. Ok, Alice said she loved it, but I am sure that if Holly could have talked she would have said she loved it too.

This year I am planning on doing at joint party again, Alice will be 4 and Holly will be 2. Last year it was really easy because Alice was really into princesses and she wanted to dress up as Sofia the First all the time. I found the cutest Anna outfit for Holly to wear and we were sorted.

I really need to start planning it and getting everything booked up. So, when we were given the opportunity to review some items from Party Bags & Supplies I quickly said yes. Having to decide which party pack to choose was not easy and trying to find something that would suit both of them.

It also made me start thinking about a theme for this year, but when I thought about it I have decided that I’m not going to do a theme. Alice is at at stage where she loves a bit of everything and there isn’t that one thing she loves like last year. That made it easier to choose and I went for the sweet stuff party pack, which is perfect for both my girls.

When the pack arrived Alice was excited, she has literally been talking about her birthday party since last year. Of course, she loved it because it was pink and had a big pink cake on it. Yes, pink is her favourite colour!

I was really impressed that the pack contained eight cups, eight plates, a pack of napkins, a tablecloth and eight sweet stuff filled party bags. I don’t know about you but I find having to buy all the bits to go in a party bag a bit time consuming. None of that for me this year!

The party bag contained a fairy temporary tattoo, bubble tube with pink ribbon, furry fabric purse with small elastics, bright neon coloured friendship bracelet and a maoma chew. Alice told me her friends are going to love it, which is a good thumbs up.

Alice asked if we could have the party today, but of course we need to save it for their party. But I did tell her we could have a picnic party for lunch and use the tablecloth instead of the picnic rug. She loved this idea and the tablecloth wiped clean easily all ready for their party.

The full party pack is priced at £28 and there are so many themes available. I think this is a great price considering everything that was included.

So, I have the party supplies and bags all sorted. What’s next? book the hall, invites, the cake…anything else?

Disclosure: I was sent a party pack for an honest review, all opinions and views are my own.

Oh these are sweet! These are the sort of things I thought Libby would go for, but she chose the pirate ones instead, totally obsessed with Swashbuckle!
