Welcome back to #SharingtheBlogLove and my weekly showcase post. The Showcase post is my favourites from last week’s linky. You can read Katy’s here.
As always there was so many great posts to choose from and her are my favourites…
Back in August I had both the girls birthdays and we had a joint party for them. Organising parties are not easy and take time to arrange. Or maybe not! I remember seeing Yvonne post on Instagram saying that she hadn’t made the cake and the party was tomorrow, she needed help! Well, it wasn’t just the cake she left to the last minute. Head over and have a read of her post, How not to organise a birthday party. It’s brilliant, even if it did bring out the control freak in me and make me sweat just thinking about it.
Fi talks openly and honestly on her blog and when I read this post on Anxiety, I knew that this would be the same. Fi thought that anxiety was in her past and then it came right back into her life. She talks openly about the panic attack that she experienced and I totally admire people that are able to share this. I am sure there are so many people that can relate to it and that it helps them to know they are not alone.
I follow Laura over on Instagram and I knew from her posts there that her youngest son is not a great sleeper. So I was not surprised to read this post, My 18 month old doesn’t sleep… I am exhausted. I can totally relate to how Laura is feeling and I too had a similar journey with Holly. With the same nods and sympathetic looks, which then turned to people asking what I was doing, as surely it was me! I hope that her day will come soon and her little one will give her some sleep, but I also know that Laura is ok with him not. She will carry on being the brilliant mum that she is.
I love writing letters to my girls on my blog and I am always naturally drawn to post where another blogger does the same. There is something so personal about a letter, it really brings out a different side of their writing. Mandy’s letter to her daughter Abigail is beautiful. Her daughter is ten years older than Alice and I hope that we still have a beautiful relationship when she reaches that age. The love that Mandy has for her daughter just pours of the page.
I’m sure you will agree these are some great posts. If you missed them last week, why not pop over now!
