Sharing The Blog Love Showcase…#23

Blogger Showcase

Welcome to my #SharingtheBlogLove Showcase where I share with you my favourite posts from last weeks linky. I really enjoy reading all the fabulous posts that link up each week and getting to know everyone a bit better.

Here are my favourites for this week…

Jakijellz

I love it when a post makes me feel happy and this post definitely did that, 10 Songs That Make Me Happy. There is no denying that listening to certain songs can change your mood and make you feel so much better. Not only did reading this post remind of this, but the songs that Jaki had on her list were songs that I loved and had forgotten about. I am a big Robbie Williams fan and he has so many great songs. But, listening to Candy again brought back lots of happy memories.

Bubbablue and Me

There aren’t many posts that I read that get me thinking about what my views and thoughts are on the matter. But this post, Do you let your children watch the news?, was very thought provoking. Emma writes about her son watching the news and that this leads to him asking questions about what he has seen. She also shares that lots of her friends children don’t watch the news and it seems there is a real divide in what people’s thoughts are on this. Do you allow your children to watch the news? Why not pop over and have a read yourself.

This Is Me Now

When you have a child there are so many wonderful things that they do and moments that you want to capture and remember forever. I adored reading this post, You are Beautiful, it’s heart warming. So many beautiful moments and funny things that her daughter does. I reminded me of all the little things that my girls have done and are doing that I want to bury in my memory forever.

Digital Motherhood

I think as parents we are all guilty of getting caught up in our world and the challenges that we have everyday with our children. We loose our patience and they drive us crazy at times. But then something will happen in our lives that brings us back down and we remember how lucky we are and thankful we are. This post, Be Grateful For Moaning Kids, brought it all home for me and I will definitely Be Grateful More and Enjoy Every Moment…

If you missed any of these last week, if you have time to pop over and show them some love I’m sure they will appreciate it.

  1. I read digital motherhood’s post earlier in the week and thought it was lovely. 10 songs that make me happy will be a definite read after this hectic week x #SharingtheBlogLove

I love this posts, most of all because they really make me think about my own values. We too have struggled about whether to let our daughter watch the news. On the one hand she has an insatiable desire for information, on the other she worries about so much already. It’s a fine line to tread at times.
