Sharing the Blog Love Showcase…#25

Welcome to my #SharingtheBlogLove showcase post, this will be my last showcase post for this year. Katy and I are taking two weeks off from running our linky over the Christmas period. We will be back on 5th January 2017, to share with you our favourite posts from this week’s linky.

My favourites for this week are…

Words_Rhymes_Rambles

I absolutely loved this post, Rediscovering the Magic of Christmas, I just loved everything about it. Yes, I think I had become a bit jaded about Christmas before I became a parent. Having spent so many Christmas’s as an adult, they all just looked the same. Whilst it is a time of year that I have always loved, I think I needed to become a parent to fall in love with it all over again. The joy that the girls have brought to Christmas brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. It is definitely more magical with them around. If you missed this post, pop over now you won’t be disappointed.

Mummy Miller

If you read my blog, you will know that Alice made a snowman Christmas card and since then she has been asking to make some more. I really loved these ideas, Baby Print Christmas Cards, as they are cards that both my girls can do. I think we could have lots of fun next week when Alice is home making these reindeer cards. If you are looking for simple and fun Christmas cards to make with your little ones, this is the post for you.

Organised Jo

I love Instagram, it is definitely my favourite place and I loose hours scrolling through all the lovely photos. Jo does a Top 5 Instagram pictures post each month, which I think is a great idea. I love Jo’s photo’s, she always captures the moment so well and this month was no exception.

Mummy Times Two

This post made me smile, Things They Should Teach in Antenatal Classes. Being a parent is a wonderful thing, but oh my goodness there are so many things that you end up doing as a parent that if someone told you beforehand you would probably just laugh and think they were mad. But, no they are not mad, it’s all true! I think my favourite one is this…

“Tie one arm behind your back, with the other arm, make dinner. Don’t worry if it’s a little tricky at first, practice will make perfect.”

If you missed any of these posts, why not pop over and share the blog love…I look forward to sharing more posts with you in the new year.

Thank you so much for choosing my post. It was my first attempt at humour in a blog post so I was more than a little nervous about even pressing publish. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I loved both Christmas posts, we couldn’t be more excited about our little man’s first Christmas this year and we’ll definitely be having a go at making those Christmas cards!

Ooh, I’ll be checking out all of these! Wishing you and your family a fabulous Christmas! I agree with you, I’d kind of lost a bit of the magic of Christmas before we had babies in the family. They do make it so special again!

Mummy times two post was so on point! I had to pay £75 for our NHS one off class and learnt nothing that one born every minute didn’t teach me before #sharingthebloglove
