Preschool Trips, Cinema and Chessington…Happy Days #12

Happy Days #12

After the short week last week, this week has felt longer, but not in a bad way. We have had lots of things going on and I finally feel like we are getting to a good place with it all.

 Lets talk happy moments…

bullet heartI mentioned last week about Alice now sleeping through the night, after a year of waking up every night. We are now on day ten of the new bed and she has sleep through every night. I can’t tell you what a difference this has made to us both.

bullet heartAlice went on her first preschool trip to the local museum. It started off not great when she didn’t want to go and started crying as we walked to the entrance. But then she saw her teachers the tears disappeared and she walked in hand in hand with her friend. When I picked her up she skipped out with a big smile, this made me happy.

A trip to the cinema with my mum, I hardly ever get the chance to go to the cinema. But, Me Before You was out and I just loved the book and had to go. It was great to spend time just with my mum, it can get hectic with the girls around and no chance to talk! The film was brilliant and yes I sobbed!

bullet heartMeeting up with the lovely Aby and Baby, in the park and watching them eating their ice creams was so funny. I think Baby was wearing more than she managed to eat, it was melting so fast!

bullet heartGoing to Chessington World of adventures with the girls and my parents. We had a great day and they had so much fun. There was lots of things they could see and do, which was fab!

This weekend we are on a mission to get our spare bedroom looking less like a dumping ground, wish us luck!

Glad that you had a lovely time at Chessington and that Alice enjoyed her museum trip. Well done to her for managing to sleep so well in her new bed. Good luck with sorting out the spare room this weekend – I need to get down to doing mine at some point as the clutter in there is getting out of hand! #happydayslinky

How lovely. It must be a real relief to get sleep sorted in plenty of time for school starting too. The long days are going to be so difficult for our little girls, I hate to foibles of them being tired as well.

Ahhh sounds like a lovely week! I`ve never been to Chessington but it looks really fun, might have to plan a visit! The first school outing sounds very emotional, in a lovely way! xx

A fab week, it’s always nice to have a few little trips planned during the week and Chessignton must have been so much fun! Great to meet up with Aby too, can’t wait to meet everyone at Britmums. A result on the sleeping too, we’re still suffering with our youngest waking hundreds of times during the night. I’m a little zombified! #happydayslinky
