Walks, Summer and Garden Fun…Happy Days #7

I love this linky by ‘What Katy Said’ and ‘Quite Frankly She Said’ called Happy Days.

Here is what Katy and Sian say about it…

The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, to see the happy in the little things. As no matter what, there is always something good in every single day- we just need to take the time to see it.

What a week! It started with the Bank Holiday and a trip to A&E for me, l had a bad case of sinusitis that got behind my eye and I have not felt pain like it. Well maybe labour, but you know what I mean! They needed to check me and make sure it was sinusitis, which is was and nothing more serious. As any parent knows, it’s not easy feeling unwell and looking after children…

But there were lots of good times too, lets talk happy moments…

bullet heartWhile I was at the hospital, my girls were having so much fun at my brother’s house playing with my niece. They just love being together all three of them. I love the closeness of their relationship.

bullet heartStopping off for a random walk with my girls on the way home from my parents. It was such a lovely day and I wanted to make the most of it. We found some sheep and they were singing baa baa black sheep to them…too cute!

Sorting through our summer clothes ready for our holiday next week and feeling in a good place with all the stuff that needs to happen before we leave.

bullet heartMeeting our friends in the park for a playdate, such a welcome change to soft play. Anyone else get to spring and feel like they have overdone the soft play in winter??

bullet heartGetting in the garden and sorting it ready to enjoy this summer. The girls loved it and Holly was enjoying more of the toys than last year. I think it’s going to be a fun summer.

Have a lovely week!

So sorry to hear you ended up in A&E with sinusitis behind your eye – sounds horribly painful – hope you are feeling much better now. Glad your girls had fun with their cousin in the meantime though. Playdates in the park are so much nicer than soft plays ones – we’ve been enjoying a few of those as well. Hope you have a lovely weekend 🙂 #HappyDaysLinky

Such a lovely time you had to treat the girls. We have been to parks many times, now Buba is 4, he has a playground at his reception class. Missy moo is very young, my youngest, and will normally play in the small toddler areas, while she opts to go to the big ones! Parks are such a lovely place to be – not just for kids! This brings back my lovely childhood memories when I loved the climbing frames, swings, roundabouts and much more! I still do love parks as much as I did when I was a child.

Me too, I love a good park and always on the hunt for new ones to try x

I really hope you’re much better now xx It really has been a great week for parks and the garden and walks, I don’t know what I would have done if it had rained this week and I couldn’t chuck the kids out in the garden.

Oh no, I do hope you’re feeling better now. I totally agree, it’s so difficult being ill when you’re looking after children. I’m glad you’ve had some lovely times this week anyway.

Good on you for finding the good in such a tough week!
I live in NZ so we’re heading for winter, not summer (sob), though I am excited to sort through our clothes and re-discover my favourite items from last year.

Oh no, hope your feeling better? I’m late to come and read the #happydayslinky so I hope so! I’ve avoided the soft play so far, but I am enjoying going for a trip to the swings a couple of times a day. The weather is so nice. Hope you’re having a nice holiday.
