A week with daddy home… Happy Days #2

Happy days #2

I am so pleased to have found this lovely Linky by ‘What Katy Said’ and ‘Quite Frankly She Said’ called Happy Days.

Here is what Katy and Sian say about it…

The idea of this linky is to inspire others to make the best out of every day, to see the happy in the little things. As no matter what, there is always something good in every single day- we just need to take the time to see it.

This week has been filled with lots of fun, Andy has been off work since Good Friday and we have made the most of it. Isn’t life a bit easier with an extra pair of hands.

Here we go, lets talk happy moments…

bullet heartA trip to the park and because daddy was with us, Alice got to go on the big slide. She was so excited.

bullet heartHolly was unexpectedly born in Winchester and we like to visit and make it a part of our family memories. We went to the Science Centre, which had been recommended to us by lots of lovely bloggers. It was a big hit, there was lots of keep the girls entertained and it was nice to do something a bit different with them. Then we headed into the city for a lovely lunch.

bullet heartThe girls love spending time with their grandparents and Andy’s parents asked if they could have the girls this week. Which gave Andy and I an unexpected and rather lovely day shopping and eating lunch where it didn’t matter if they had a child friendly menu. The girls were full of excitement to spend the day there, which makes me happy.

bullet heartAndy doesn’t get much opportunity to have the girls all to himself and as they are getting older, he enjoys it much more (because its easier). The sun was shining and he took them to the park. They were jumping up and down with excitement to go with daddy.

bullet heartI went to visit my friend in her new home and she cooked me dinner, yum! It was so lovely to see her and her little family happy, its a new beginning for them.

Lots of family and friends happy moments this week…have a great week everyone!

How lovely to have Andy home for the week and for the girls to spend lots of time with Daddy. It makes such a difference having that extra pair of hands doesn’t it? Glad you managed a nice day out on your own together too while the girls had fun with their grandparents. Winchester is such a beautiful city and the Science Centre sounds like it was a lot of fun 🙂
