Me and Mine A Family Project…November 2019

I’m late writing this post because last week was a right off, after Alice caught the sickness bug from Holly and then I caught it. It completely wiped me out and I only started to feel better at the weekend.

It’s been a pretty full on month. Its one of the busiest times at the girls school and lots happening. I’m also feeling it more now they are at separate schools, as they have different things happening on different days. The girls are feeling it too, they are tired and I think we’re going to limp over the line to get to the end of term.

My photos this month were taken at the start of November when it was half term and that now feels like a long time ago. We had a really lovely time in Brighton and it made me appreciate our time together. The girls loved seeing somewhere new and they always thrive on having our full attention. When we have nothing to do, but enjoy our mini break away. I’m definitely going to try and do more little trips away next year.

Last weekend we put our Christmas tree up and we’re all feeling very festive now. The girls are so excited and loved seeing Father Christmas too. I still have lots to do ahead of Christmas and really need to get more organised. Not being able to do anything last week has really put me behind.

Andy has got a longer than normal break at Christmas, as he realised he had more holiday left than he thought which is brilliant. The Christmas break is one of our favourites, because its the only time of year when it goes quiet for both of us and we feel we can have a proper break. I can’t wait to spend Christmas together.

As I mentioned my photos this month are from our mini break to Brighton and I think I will print one of these off to go in a frame.
