One of my favourites things to do is styling our home. I love bringing a room together with accessories and making it feel like a home. I will spend hours finding the right thing, and I love it when I do find exactly what I’m looking for. A great way to style a room is with wall art. It can completely transform a room.

In Holly’s room she has a gallery wall and I have been wanting to add some wall art to it. We’ve recently updated our lounge, and changed the colour scheme. We have picture shelves in the corner on the wall and I had a gap that needed filling. I love an abstract poster, they’re a great way to bring colour to a room. I like to mix the colours up and I think these look great together on the shelf. Just before lockdown I started to do our hallway. It was very bland and desperately needed to be done. I added a mirror, a stool and changed the light fittings. Then we went into lockdown and I hadn’t managed to finish it off. What it needed was some wall art on the walls, as they were empty. Another area that had been neglected and needed to have something added to the walls, was the utility room. I wanted something that matched the room and these two were perfect. We also do our laundry in the utility and this poster is brilliant. I love a funny saying and I think in the utility room, you can be a bit quirky.
I’ve recently got back into doing colouring, and I find it really relaxing. When I saw that Posterlounge did posters that you can colour yourself, I thought what a great idea. I’m going to colour mine in and sit it on my new desk.
