Well August you have been a brilliant birthday month. We’ve spent the month wrapping presents, unwrapping presents, eating cake and lots of celebrations. I’m exhausted!
Here is our snapshot of August…
What a brilliant month it has been having you home with us every day, we’ve packed a lot in. Of course we saw you turn four and now you are a proper big girl, that you tell me all day long.
You loved your joint birthday party with Holly and seeing all your friends come along to celebrate. We’ve been getting you ready to start school next week, I am still pretending that it isn’t happening! Holly and I are really going to miss you.
Everything about going to your new school, you are so excited
To ride your new bike…”It has pedals mummy”
To eat oranges
To watch nursery rhymes, these funny little bear ones daddy found for you to watch
You turned two years old how has that happened. It was a brilliant day, we had a family trip to Peppa Pig World and your little face lit up. I made a little video if you fancy watching it.
What a lovely little girl you are becoming, so thoughtful and caring. But, still with a streak of mischief in you. Please don’t ever change.
The big thing for you this month has been your eating, we are starting to turn a corner with dinner time and you are eating so much more than you have been recently.
Your new Dyson cleaner you got for your birthday. “I clean mummy”
To ride your new scooter and getting better every time
A little teddy bear that Alice was given when she was born. You have claimed it and it doesn’t leave your side
To decide what clothes you want to wear every day, its become a new fun game in the morning!
What we got up to…
It was a busy month with seeing friends and lots of lovely days out. We’ve been to Wellington Country Park, Carfest, Peppa Pig World, The Vyne National Trust, splash parks and so many different parks in our area. We’ve had picnics in the garden and a fish and chip picnic at the park. It really has been a brilliant month!
My favourite moment…
My favourite moment was seeing my girls at their birthday party together. They both had a great time and I was really proud of them both for taking part in it all.
September I am not ready for you, you arrived too early. Alice starts school next week and it’s going to be a month of adjustment for us all.
