Blog Love…

Blogs I love

Before I started my own blog I used to read blogs all the time, they were and still are a part of my everyday life. They are so easy to read when you are parent, those times where you are trapped under a baby who has decided they want to feed for over an hour. Or those times when they fall asleep on you and you know that you probably should move them to the cot, but you just want to enjoy the snuggles. Or during those long night feeds where it feels like you are the only person awake.

Since I started my own blog, I have discovered so many more brilliant blogs and I am also starting to get to know the people behind those blogs. And that is the best part so far of my blogging journey…the people, the bloggers, the community feel that surrounds it. I have been amazed at the support bloggers give each other.

So, each month I am going to share some blog love to my fellow bloggers, bloggers that have helped me along the way, posts that I have loved to read or blogs that I never want to miss a post.

This month is a big thank you to two bloggers who have helped me over the last couple of months. Blogging is a bit like starting a new job, but you don’t have any colleagues to ask you where the printer is or how the photocopier works.

I have never been so happy than the day I discovered Aby’s Blog Club. It literally saved me hours of googling time to work out all the bits of blogging that I had no clue about. Every Tuesday Aby posts something new about blogging, which is great for bloggers new and old. It’s incredibly kind of Aby to share her blogging knowledge for everyone to learn from.

Aby has also been really great and helped me when I have a question I can’t answer and whilst I know she is an incredibly busy lady, she always replies. Thank you Aby, sending you some blog love…

What the Redhead said

Donna – What the Redhead Said

Donna gives so much back to the blogging community as a whole and runs a fantastic Facebook group for UK Parenting Bloggers. She brings us all together and is usually the first to answer any questions people may have.

For me personally, she has taken the time to look over my blog and given me her views and thoughts on it. This was not incredibly kind of her, she too is a busy lady, but it was great for me. I loved putting together my blog, but sometimes when you look at something every day, you don’t spot the small things and you don’t look at from a readers point of view. Not only did Donna give me some advice on tweaks to make, she gave me some really lovely feedback on what she loved about my blog. This was a great boost for someone new to it all.

Donna has also answered my questions, when I haven’t been sure on things.  Thank you Donna, sending you some blog love…

I will be back next month for some more blog love…
