I’m back with another A Day In The Life Of… It’s a chance for other bloggers to share what a typical day looks like for them. I’m proper nosey and I love to see what people get up to in their day. It’s also a great chance for you to find some more blogs that you might like to follow…
Today we have Kirsty from Kirsty Dee, a Mum of two, wife and a cat owner to Jinx.
Let’s see what a typical day looks like for her…
07.05: My alarm goes off. I’m usually awake before now as I’ve heard my hubby Tony get up and go to work. I never actually start getting sorted for the day until my alarm goes on. I probably should, but I love that peace and quiet for 10 bliss minutes. I tip toe around trying not to wake the kids whilst I quickly get dressed and make the bed. I find if I’m ready and have my bed made before the kids wake I feel more organised and the day goes better. The kids usually wake about 7.20-7.30 and we head downstairs for breakfast. After breakfast I run around like a mad women trying to leave for the School run for 8.20am. 95% of the time it’s 8.35 and we just make it before the School gates closed. I really don’t know what happens on a morning, but we always seem to end up rushing to be out the door on time.
09.00: We are back home from dropping my daughter Peta-Summer off at School. Clark will immediately ask for a ‘treat’ and will bring me the mouse over for me to put YouTube on. I’ll look for something he sees as a treat that isn’t too terrible for him, usually it’s some sort of cereal bar. Whilst he is happy watching other children play on YouTube and eating I’ll use this time to make a tea and try to catch up on social media and blog posts.
13.00: Clark will have his nap and then it’s all systems go. I have about 1.5 hours to get the house tidy, do some video editing, blog posts and social media marketing. I don’t usually ever get everything done, most days I get a bit of two of the jobs I wanted to get done.
19.00: Clark goes to bed and my daughter will come downstairs and read her book to me for 15 minutes before heading to bed. Usually hubby is getting in about this time and will quickly go to see Clark before he falls asleep, then he starts making dinner for us. Once the reading is finished we’ll give Peta a kiss goodnight and she now goes off and tucks herself into bed.
