My girls have always loved crafting, colouring and making things. Holly especially, will sit for hours drawing and colouring and its lovely to see. I’m always looking for new creative ideas for them to try.
I was recently contacted by Chalkola and asked if I would like to review some of their products and I jumped at the chance. In this post I am going to review their Chalkola Chalk Markers and in a second post, I am going to review their Acrylic Paint Markers.
We were sent a box of 40 Chalkola Chalk Markers, that includes neon, pastel and metallic colours. Smaller packs are available.
You can use these chalk markers on whiteboards, blackboards, windows, ceramics, mirrors and more. Holly couldn’t wait to use them and we used our white board. To make them work, you have to shake them up and down, making sure you keep the lid firmly on. Then you press the nib in and out and the liquid comes onto the nib, ready for you to use. Make sure when you put the lid back on you hear a click, to make sure they don’t dry out.
The chalk markers are safe for children and toxic free. They wash straight out, if they get it on their clothes, which is a massive win for me. They are really easy to use and unlike normal chalk, they are dust free. It dries within minutes and with the thin nibs, you have good control over what to draw or write.
Alice loved drawing with them and said how easy they were to use. The best bit for parents, is they easily wipe off the whiteboard and they don’t make any mess.
You can buy the Chalkola Markers for £29.95 from Amazon.
The girls had a great time using the Chalkola Markers and they’ve already asked me if they can use them on the windows. It will be a fun activity we can do and I’m sure our neighbours will enjoy it on their walks.
