My Girls…March 2018

My Girls…March 2018

It’s been a lovely month, we had snow at the beginning of the month which is just crazy for March. But more recently it feels like spring might be on it’s way. We had a family day out for Mother’s Day at Chessington World of Adventures and its made me excited for the summer ahead with lots more fun days out.

The girls are just getting cuter and cuter together, they just love being together. The minute they are both home, they head straight off to either play together or do colouring together. I adore watching them.

I love how much Alice looks out for her little sister and how Holly looks up her big sister. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when they are at school together. I think the teachers are going to have a hard time keeping them apart.

My photos this month were taken a couple of weeks ago when we were out on a walk one Sunday afternoon. We live not too far away from a lovely woods and we really made the most of the quieter start to the year and went for a walk every weekend.

It had been raining, but with a gap in the clouds the girls put their puddle suits on and we grabbed our wellies to head out. The girls loved it, they could jump in puddles and not get wet. And mummy wasn’t panicking that they would get wet either. They could just fun free.

The photos this month really sum up my girls. The photo above shows the caring nature of Alice, reaching out to her sister. They are walking along hand in hand and stop for a cuddle. No reason for it, just because that is what Alice does. Then there is the cheekiness of Holly, with that tongue making an appearance. They couldn’t be more different in character and I couldn’t love them more for it.

Fab photos! Sometimes these are the best days out, just letting the day take you wherever, being outdoors and letting the kids be free!

What a lovely relationship they have! Bless them – I hope my two are like this! At the moment Sophie desperately wants to play with her brother but he’s just too small! x
