Hello…is anyone out there?

Is it ok to still blog about New Year? Well I’m going to anyway, as I thought it would be a good way for me to introduce myself and my blog….

I’ve been thinking about starting a blog for far too long and I’ve never plucked up courage to start it until now….why now? I don’t really do new year resolutions, but I decided that 2016 was going to be the year I started something new for me and so dearbearandbeany was born.

So, what can you expect from dearbearandbeany? It’s where I will be writing all about life as a mummy to two little girls and what does that life really look like. I will share the adventures we go on, also my biggest girl is starting big school in September and I will share with you all how I cope with it (please girls stop growing up!)……

Oh yes, and before I go I better introduce myself….I am Laura, a thirty something mummy to Alice and Holly, who totally keep me on my toes, but I love those two girls and I feel so lucky to have the best job in the world.

I have been a mummy since we welcomed Alice in 2012 and my world was turned upside down and it totally unrecognisable to the life I had before and that makes me so happy. I had to kiss a few frogs before I got together with my now hubby Andy (I will share that story another time) and I couldn’t wait to start a family.

I was lucky to become an auntie in 2010 to my gorgeous niece and my friends children have been a big part of my life and I couldn’t wait for it to be my turn to be the one that a little person would call ‘mummy’.

Holly arrived 2 years later in 2014 and was a little ray of sunshine….we became a family of four. Then the really fun began juggling life with two little girls, two years apart and I will share with you how I coped (or didn’t!!), that first rollercoaster year.

I will keep it short and sweet for my first post, but I will be back soon with lots more….

Thank you for stopping by!

Love Laura

(phew the first post is done! Don’t know I’m worried no one will read it!!)
