If you’re a regular reader of my blog, then you will know that my girls love Hatchimals and when we were recently sent the latest Hatchimals to arrive in Hatchtopia they couldn’t wait to see what was inside.
If you’re not familiar with Hatchimals, they are collectible dolls that hatch to life with your loving touch. The new Hatchimals Pixes have eight different eggs to choose from, and you can catch a pixie from either polar paradise, crystal canyon, wishing star waterfall or glittering garden.
The eggs are shimmery and have the heart on the side, that all Hatchimals fans will recognise.
As with all Hatchimals, you have to rub the heart which softens the egg for you to hatch your egg. Alice couldn’t wait to see what was inside and was amazed at what she saw.
The top part of the egg breaks away and you are left with a solid egg base, with your Pixie Hatchimal inside. Alice’s pixie is from Glittering Garden and her name is Glittering Gracie, and she loved her.
At the bottom of the base was a packet and inside were 3 accessories.
The bag containing a headband, a watering can and a flower. The Hatchimals Pixie are glam, and head to toe in glitter. They have glittering wings that really flutter. When you’re not using the accessories you can store them in the egg and put your Pixie on her bed.
Alice couldn’t wait to start playing with her new Hatchimals Pixie.
Holly also couldn’t wait to open her Hatchimals Pixie and see which one she would get. Her egg was blue and shimmery!
Holly’s Hatchimals Pixie is from Wishing Star Waterfall and is called Wishing Star Willow and Holly immediately loved her sparkly hair.
Her accessories are a hairband and artist pallet.
Holly loved her and declared her the best Hatchimal ever.
There are eight Hatchimals Pixie to collect and priced at £7.99. They are available at Smyths Toys.
My girls have already added them to their birthday wish list and I can’t see their love of Hatchimals ending soon.
Disclosure: We were kindly sent our Hatchimals Pixie in return for an honest review. All views, opinions and photos are my own.
