It’s that time of year when we look ahead to Christmas and start planning what to buy friends and family. Today I’m introducing you to the must have toy for this year, Present Pets.
When you buy Present Pets, you don’t know which pet is going to be inside. The outside box looks like this.
Inside is then another bright pink box that looks like a present, you pull the tag at the top and they stand back and watch your present unwrap. Present Pets is the present that unwraps itself, and I mean literally unwraps itself!
Holly’s face lit up when she saw the present start to upwrap, wondering what was going to be inside.
As you can see paw shape holes start to appear, and this happens all by itself, once you’ve pulled the tag at the top. We didn’t touch it, until it had finished unwrapping. It’s very clever!
This is how it looks once it’s finished unwrapping itself.
Your new pet is sat on this platform and you need to take your puppy off it. You need a screwdriver to do this. Once you’ve removed the puppy, you can discard the platform as you don’t need it anymore.
Now you have your new puppy to love.
It comes with batteries, but if you need to change them it takes 6 AAA batteries which can be found in the paws. Also, underneath the paw is the power switch.
Your new pet has different play modes for you to learn and get to know. If you don’t play with your puppy it will fall asleep and enter sleep mode. To wake it up, press the button on the back. It will also try and walk to you.
It has a cuddle mode, which is at the back of the head in-between the ears and an excited mode, which is on the stomach.
If you press the sensor points on the back and the head at the same time, she does a trick! If you press the button on the back you enter Bark back mode, which means the puppy is listening to you. When you bark or speak to your puppy, it will imitate your bark. After three exchanges, the puppy will return to its normal mode.
Present Pets RRP £54.99 and is for 5+. You can find it at Smyth Toys, The Entertainer, Argos and more.
Holly loved playing with her new puppy and I can see Present Pets being under a few Christmas trees this Christmas as children fall in love with them.
