There are a few things that I wasn’t prepared for when I became a parent and one of them is how hungry children get and that they literally could eat all day long if we let them. I haven’t left the house for five years without a few snacks in my bag and since Alice has started school it’s only become worse. I literally cannot fill her up!
I’m always looking for snacks that are healthy and that the girls will love them. Especially for Holly who is a lot fussier than Alice.
We’ve recently discovered GoGo squeeZ, which are the perfect healthy snack that you can take anywhere or have right at home. There range of pouches are perfect for children and they come in both fruit snacks and yogurtZ, with a variety of flavours.
What I love about the yogurt pouches is that they don’t need to be refrigerated, unless they’ve been opened. Making them perfect for lunch boxes and taking out with you. They don’t have any preservatives in them and are a good source of calcium and vitamin D, something we all need more of. They come in both Strawberry and Banana flavours, which made Holly happy as her favourite fruit ever is banana.
The fruit pouches come in Apple, Apple Strawberry and Apple Mango flavours and they also don’t have any flavouring or preservatives. And again they don’t need to be refrigerated, which I love as it means they don’t take up valuable fridge space. They are just real fruit, which is perfect for Holly as it’s another way for me to get her to eat fruit. Because unless its a banana she isn’t too keen!
Because neither the fruit or the yogurt pouches need to be refrigerated it means that I can always have them in my bag. Ready for those moments when the girls are hungry. It’s great to know I have a healthy snack available and that they will love it. If they don’t finish them, you can reseal them. They also have the longest sell by dates ever, which means they can stay in my bag that little bit longer. But to be honest the girls love them so much, that is never going to happen.

It’s great that I’ve not only found a healthy snack, but one that they love to. Seeing my fussy eater Holly eat them in record time is a big comfort to me, especially when she normally asks for more.
