“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
It was back to school for the girls on Tuesday and whilst we were sad for the holidays to be over, it was nice to get back to normality. This term Holly is studying The Great Fire Of London and on Wednesday she had to dress up as a someone from the seventeenth century. She was so excited and came home full of facts about it.
This weekend we had a nice relaxed one. On Sunday the girls and I did some baking, and after lunch we all headed to the woods for a walk. It was a fairly mild day and we had a lovely walk. We came home and drank hot chocolate and watched Harry Potter. I snapped this photo of Alice quickly, as I glanced over to her and I couldn’t get over how grown up she looked. That’s what I love about phone cameras, you can capture moments that you wouldn’t otherwise have.
