“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Last week was a busy one at both the girls schools. Alice had art week, and I went in to help a couple of times which was lovely. Alice really enjoyed all the different sessions they did and said sewing was her favourite.
Holly finished their topic of the Great Fire of London and I went in to see all her work. She really loved doing this topic, it really appealed to her and she hasn’t stopped writing about it at home. They also had a Valentine’s Disco, which Holly wasn’t able to go to because she was being enrolled at Rainbows. She didn’t mind missing the disco and was still able to wear red to school that day which is all she was worried about.
This weekend we were hit by Storm Dennis and had a lot of rain and wind. Thankfully we didn’t loose power this time and there was just a lot of flooding around our area. After spending Saturday at home, on Sunday we ventured out for some lunch at Pizza Express. It was good to get out for a few hours. I took this photo at the restaurant of Alice.
We’re now on half term and I can’t wait for lazy days, seeing friends and family and no routine.
