It rained for most of last week and we had to rush out for our walks and bike rides when there was a gap in the rain. Lockdown is definitely harder when the weather is bad.
Thankfully it was dry for the weekend and we could get out. Andy took Alice on a bike ride on Saturday and they did nearly 9 miles. Alice loves it and its really nice that they can do it together. Holly didn’t fancy a bike ride this time, and we stayed home to bake cakes. We then had a walk a bit later on.
On Sunday we headed to a forest about a 10 minute drive from us. The girls took their scooters, as there is a paved walk through it perfect for scooters and bikes. We had a lovely time and I even got a take away coffee from the cafe. My first one for months and months!
