“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
Its been a busy week for us. Of course we had the usual school and home schooling happening. Then on Friday it was my birthday and I got to spend the day with both my girls. A blessing to all of this, is having them both home, as had this not been happening they would’ve been in school. I had a lovely day, and we got to pop over and spend some time with my parents in their garden. We also went to a nearby poppy field, which was beautiful and I got some lovely photos.
It was then Andy’s turn for celebrations with Father’s Day. All Andy has wanted to do is go to the beach, but we’ve been really nervous about going and it being too busy. I was really happy when I found a beach that you had to prebook and they were managing the numbers. We decided to give it a try and if it was too busy we would just come home.
We arrived and set up, with it fairly quiet. More people did arrive of course, but it wasn’t overcrowded and people were making sure they were a good distant apart from each other. It is the most normal day we’ve had since this began. The girls had the best day ever and so did Andy.
