Living Arrows 26/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

Holly loves to read and will often clamber onto the sofa with a book tucked under her arm and sit looking through it. I caught her this week, just sat their looking thoughtful. I wonder what she was thinking…

While Holly was napping the sun decided to join us for a short while and Alice was desperate to go out in the garden. The trampoline is definitely a bit hit and she bounces for ages.

Looks so thoughtful there and you can’t beat a good bounce. #LivingArrows

Alice is having so much fun that it appears to be infectious. Trampolines are so much that Sylvia sometimes wishes we still hand one, had it not been damaged in last years storms.

I wish Sylvia liked to read as much as Holly does. I bet Holly will be good at reading by the time she starts school.

Both photos are just lovely. My kids often do exactly the same as Holly and I love watching them lost in thought. That action shot of Alice is spot on x #livingarrows

I love the contrast between these two – the quiet contemplation, and the energetic trampolining! Beautiful #livingarrows

Such a thoughtful photo. I really miss our trampoline which is destroyed in the field behind our garden. By the time I get round to getting a new one, it’ll be the end of the summer. #livingarrows

My little lady loves our trampoline (as does my son who it was originally purchased for). Its great to see them reading too huh?

They’re both such beautiful girls and what lovely photos of them 🙂 I love the one with Holly in the books – I wonder if she’ll be a writer too! x #livingarrows

Oh these photos are lovely, they really capture something of each of their characters. We’ve got a trampoline waiting to go up too, we just need to get a net first.

Kids absolutely love trampolines don’t they?! Both of mine have always been bookworms too x
