“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

We had our first National Trust day out at the weekend and it was lovely. We headed to Corfe Castle, which we visited a couple of years ago. The weather wasn’t the best, but it stayed dry and it didn’t stop us having a good time. The National Trust have done a great job of restricting the numbers, and making it a safe day out.

They had a trail on for the girls, which Alice loved. She is really interested in our history and found it fascinating. We took a picnic and there were some tables and chairs we could use.

Afterwards we had a walk around Corfe Village and stumbled across a park area. The park itself was still closed, but it had a large field to play frisbee. We had a lovely day and for a while we could forget there was a pandemic happening!
