“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
We are definitely making the most of our National Trust passes at the moment. We’ve always loved them, but with them restricting the number of people who can visit at one time, they feel like a safe place to go at the moment. At the weekend we met my parents at Basildon Park and enjoyed a picnic with them.
Holly played hide and seek with Grandad and Alice played Dobble with Nanny. It was nice to have some normality back. We took a frisbee and all enjoyed playing with it. It was a gorgeous day and the grounds are beautiful. I love this photo I took of the girls whilst we were there. We ended our visit with an ice cream, as the kiosk is at the entrance.
Whilst it feels like the rest of the country finished school last Friday, we don’t break up until Wednesday. I can’t wait to have no more home schooling!
