“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
This week has been a week of two halves. It started with the girls having their last two days at school. With Holly finishing her first year at school, which was the fastest year ever and Alice saying goodbye to the infants. It was an emotional week and I’m really proud of my girls and what they’ve achieved.
We had a slow start to the holidays, the girls were exhausted and I knew they needed to time to just relax. We had a day at my parents house which they loved. Plus it was also the hottest two days of the year. Thursday we had in our garden and I got the pool out, which we spent all day in. It was SO hot.
My photos this week are of the girls on their last day of the school year and having fun in the pool. I adore the pool photo, this is what childhood is all about. I have so many fond memories playing with my brother in the garden, jumping in the pool.
