“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Last week we had lots of lovely days out seeing friends and family. We had play dates and time at home. We’ve definitely fallen into a summer routine, and all benefiting from the slower starts to the mornings.

We took a trip to one of our favourite places, Dinton Pastures with my parents. We took a picnic, put the scooters in the car and headed off for a fun day. The sky was blue and it looked like it was going to be a gorgeous day.

The girls loved playing in the play area, its so big and lots for them to do. We then had our picnic and it started to drizzle! So, I went and got our coats from the car and by the time I got there the rain was coming down really heavy. Luckily we were having our picnic under a tree and were well sheltered. We then ran to the car and headed to my parents house for the rest of the day. The weather was crazy!

My photos are of the girls having fun before the rain and look at that sky! You wouldn’t have thought an hour later we were getting soaked.
