“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

We’ve had a wonderful week in Cornwall, and today we are sadly coming home. It was just what we all needed and whilst it may have been a slightly different holiday to what we usually have, it didn’t make any difference. We did new things and made new memories.

The girls did body boarding for the first time and it quickly became their favourite thing to do at the beach. It was lovely to watch them having fun in the sea and learning something new. It will definitely now be a part of our holidays and beach days out in the future.

We also managed a trip to our favourite place, St Michaels Mount. All tickets for the National Trust have to be pre-booked, and they had restricted numbers. Which meant that when we were going around the castle, because it was a one way system and there was hardly anyone there, it felt at times we had it all to ourselves. The girls love walking across the magical path that appears under the sea. I’m so pleased we were able to visit.
