“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
We’ve had two weeks back at school now, and we’re getting into our new routine. It feels like every day that they are at school is a bonus day, and I’m not taking it for granted that they could be off at any point. They both seem happy to be back and that’s all I can ask for.
This weekend, we saw my parents at a nearby farm shop and cafe. It was a gorgeous sunny day, but as we were up high and out in the country it was windy. There is always a gorgeous horse in the field next to the cafe garden and he is very used to all the children going over to stroke him.
It looks like the weather is going to change later this week and this might be the last of the sunny days. It will definitely make it harder to get out, as at the moment we feel more comfortable sitting outside at cafes.
