Living Arrows 38/52 {2017}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

On Sunday we took an early morning walk, as the girls decided to give us an early start. It was really peaceful and it felt like everyone was still asleep across our town.

Last week Alice started rainbows and she was so excited. This was a quick snap before she went, it’s a quick turnaround after school to get her fed, dressed and ready to go. I think the excitement is clear for everyone to see.

    Aww I always wanted to do Rainbows when I was younger but I never made it off the waiting list! Early morning walks sound perfect 🙂 #LivingArrows

    It does look extremely quiet and I love the stillness in Holly’s photo. #livingarrows

    I absolutely love the first shot, and how the colours fade into the distance. I hope Alice had a good time at rainbows, it does make after-school rush manic doesn’t it? Pasta was our go-to meal each rainbows/guides day, its the only thing I could cook quickly and they would eat without complaint!

    That photo of Holly is beautiful – love the haziness in the distance. And Alice looks so chuffed! I volunteered at Rainbows when I was younger, I always loved their excitement about everything! #livingarrows

    I love the contrast in your photos this week. The stillness of Holly’s and the excitement of Alice’s. I hope she enjoyed Rainbows #livingarrows
