“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
by Kahlil Gibran
We had a lovely typical autumn weekend. The girls and I baked flapjacks, we went on a bike ride, we made an apple crumble, had a roast dinner and went on a lovely walk. It was lovely. Yes, we’re missing going to places, even going for a hot chocolate, but we’re happy and we’re safe and right now that is all I need.
I love this photo of my girls on our walk. Now that Holly is too big for a carry from Daddy, she often asks Alice to give her a piggy back. Bless Alice, she always says yes, but can’t do it for long! It also felt like we were at the top of the world and Holly thought she could touch the clouds.
