On Saturday we had a lovely day. I booked tickets for us to go to Mottisfont, National Trust, which is one of our favourites. At the moment most National Trust places have a Peter Rabbit Winter Trail on, and I knew the girls would love it. They were given a bag, with the trail sheet, pencil, the well done badge and an activity pack to do at home. It was a really great way of doing it, as it meant we didn’t have to go and collect the badge at the end and reduced contact.
The girls loved doing the trail and it was a lovely walk around. We don’t often go inside the houses, but at Christmas they are full of Christmas trees and they’re always lovely to look around. We lost count of the number of Christmas trees they had in the house and outside there was a sleigh with reindeer, that the girls could sit on.
We had a lovely couple of hours there.
