Living Arrows 50/52

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

by Kahlil Gibran

What a crazy, busy and stressful week it was. We have no broadband and no TV, its times like this that you really notice how much our life revolves around it.

On Friday Holly and I ventured out for a walk in the woods that are now just down the road from us. In between sorting the house and having to be home for deliveries, there hasn’t been much chance to get out.

I love this picture of my little Holly, you can see the cheekiness in her and that smile gets me every time.

If we hadn’t moved house we would have put our tree up the first weekend in December, but it just wasn’t practical. Alice asked me if we could do this weekend and even though I said yes, I was thinking I could have done without it for a while longer. But the minute it was up, the house became more a home. It looks lovely glistening away in the window and I’m pleased we did it.

Gorgeous photos. We haven’t got our tree up yet, I think it will have to wait until the schools break up. It must be difficult for you at the moment without broadband, I do hope it’s up and running again soon. But in the meantime make the most of having a proper break.
