We Love The Hungry Caterpillar…Do you?

There are not many things that I loved as a child that are still around now. But one that has held the test of time is The Hungry Caterpillar, I loved it and now both my girls love it too.

It amazes me that a book that was loving written nearly 50 years ago is loved and adored by children around the world. With over 45 million copies sold!

We were recently send a lovely hamper filled with lots of wonderful The Hungry Caterpillar products, many that I had no idea existed.

I’m always looking for activities that I can pop in my bag and take out and about with us for when I need to entertain Holly and these activity books are great. It can mean I actually get to finish my coffee when were in the cafe while she is happily entertained.

We have one The Hungry Caterpillar book, so Holly recognised him and loved that we had a new one. Especially because it has flaps to lift up, this always makes it more exciting.

The placemat book is a great idea, along with the meal tray that we received. These two together make meals time a bit easier for my fussy eater.

Having the different sections, keeps her interest and she loves it when each one is empty and she can see what is underneath. My mum would have loved a tray like for me when I was a child, as I was strange and didn’t really like my food to touch each other!!

And Holly loves it when I let her have a treat with a juice box at lunch. ‘It matches my tray mummy’!

We’ve had a few different activity tins before and it was lovely to have a The Hungry Caterpillar one. These are great for when you are going away on holiday, popping to the grandparents or even a rainy day at home. They come with everything you need and a range of things to keep them entertained.

I was super excited to see there was something for me too! A 2018 family calendar. This is like a dream for me, I love to be super organised and I have to say the calendar I’ve had this year hasn’t been great.

This one has a place to write each family name down and they have their own section. I don’t want to wish the year away, but I can’t wait to use it.
