Its the summer holidays and I now have both girls home for six weeks, which can feel a little bit daunting to keep them entertained. I’m always looking for things that will keep them both entertained and won’t make my house or them a mess.
We were recently sent some brilliant products from Little Brain to help keep the girls entertained and the best bit – Mess Free! We were sent a Paint Sticks Classic Art Station and the girls couldn’t wait to use it.
It was a lovely day, so I set them up outside. But because the paint sticks are mess free, I wouldn’t mind them using it in the house either. The art station comes folded, to make it easy to store away. You then unclip it and the the boards stand up in place. One side is a board, with a clip to put the paper ready to do some painting.
The other side is a blackboard to use the chalk sticks. The art station comes with 10 sheets of paper, 6 paint sticks and 6 chalk sticks, plus a duster to wipe the chalk board clean.
There are pots to stand the paint sticks in and slots to stand the chalk sticks in too. These are really handy. There is no need for brushes or water either!
It’s great to have a double sided art station, which means both the girls can use it together. Holly started with the painting, she is normally the one that would end up in a mess. But thanks to the paint sticks, there was no mess at all and she loved using them. They were easy for her to take the lids of her herself and put back on.
Alice started on the chalk side and we had not used chalk sticks before. These are brilliant! Normally with chalk, their hands end up covered in chalk, that then end up on their clothes and none of this happened with the chalk sticks.
Alice said they were really easy to use. Once she had finished, we slightly wet the orange duster to wipe it clean for Holly to have a turn.
The girls then swapped over. Alice said the paint sticks were really colourful and found them easy to use.
Holly loved the chalking and said it was her favourite!
The girls loved the paint and chalk sticks and even if you don’t have the art station, they are great to use with a piece of paper on a table.
Once they had finished I could pop it all away and store it easily.
The girls did some great paintings and it kept them entertained for ages. Plus there was no cleaning of my table or children at the end!
We were also sent a set of Paint Sticks Classic and Metallic paints. The girls loved the metallic paints and said they sparkled in the sun.
The girls are going to be well entertained this summer thanks to Little Brain Paint Sticks and Mummy is going to be happy because its mess free!
