We’re nearly at the end of another year and I can’t quite believe that Christmas is next week. Since the summer, it feels like the year just got faster and faster and here we are.
Writing the December post of My Girls, is one of favourites, because I get to look back at them for the whole year. I also looked at last Decembers, and Holly looks so much older this year. She has grown up a lot this year and you can definitely see it. Alice’s face has changed a lot, she is growing into a gorgeous girl.
The girls are tired and ready for the end of school. They are also ridiculously excited for Christmas, the magic of Christmas just gets better and better as they get older. We’ve had our tree up since the 1st December, as its one of my favourite things to do. The girls have been to visit Father Christmas and have written their letters too. They have some lovely Christmas things happening at school this week, and then they finish school on Friday.
I can’t wait to have them home for a couple of weeks. Lazy mornings, no rushing to be anyone and lots of family time.
