My Little Snapshots…

I’ve spent the whole week thinking it’s a day later than it actually is. Does anyone do this? I’m just constantly confused as to what day it is and where we all need to be!

As I’m writing this, it’s Thursday night and Andy is away again and that means another night of no sleep tonight. Which means I just end up staying up later because I know I won’t sleep. Which doesn’t really help my sleep situation!

Here is my little snapshot of this week…

Family Fun Last Sunday we headed to Chessington World Of Adventures with my SIL and niece and we had a brilliant day out. The girls are more like siblings than cousins and adore each other. The weather was amazing and we managed to get on so many rides. Alice was a lot braver than normally, probably having her older cousin there helped and she braved Tiger Rock. She mainly doesn’t like the idea of getting wet, but I had brought a poncho I got from Tiger Tiger for a £1 and she was happy.  It was one of those days you don’t want to end as we were having so much fun.

Places to work… Since Holly has started school and I have all week to now work, I find being in the house every day hard to keep motivated. This week I spent a couple of mornings working in cafe’s and I was a lot more productive and focused. I achieved more in the time I was at the cafe than I would the whole day at home. It meant that when I got home, I could do some jobs around the home.

New Routine … I’ve been struggling to find a new routine now I no longer have Holly at home with me. But last night I sat down and worked out a rough plan of what I would do each day in terms of work versus house work. I haven’t quite got the balance right and I just feel like I’m not achieving anything. Anyway I will let you know how my new plan goes!

Being braver with my blog … I started my blog as a way to document my girls growing up, I felt like time was running away and I wanted to remember all those little moments as well as the big. With the girls now both at school, I find that I don’t have as much to write about them. Plus I have to think about what they would want me to share too. I’ve been wanting to write more about me, but to be honest I’ve just felt a bit silly. I’m not a food blogger, or a fashion blogger, but I am a person that loves to buy clothes and bake. So, I thought I would just bite the bullet and do it this week and I shared a post about my favourite jumpers I’m loving this year. I now just need to work on posing for photos and I feel SO awkward!

Watching on TV … Andy and I started to watch The Cry on BBC1 and half way through I said to Andy I have no clue what is going on, as it jumps around a lot. But by the end of it, I was hooked and now can’t wait for Sunday and the next episode. Constantly thinking who did it?!?!

This weekend… My parents will be back from their holiday this weekend and the girls have missed them so much. So, we are seeing them at some point I’m sure.

I hope you all have a brilliant weekend!
