My Little Snapshots…

Its official I’ve turned into the person that moans about the weather. But seriously its been another week of rain and it’s really starting to get to me. It really does affect my mood and I need to see some sunshine soon please. It’s been a busy week at the girls school, I’ve been helping out a lot this week, which I love. But it also hasn’t left much time to actually do my work. It was also my birthday on Wednesday and I didn’t want to be working on my birthday. I now have a lot of catching up to do.

Here is my little snapshot of this week…

An Evening Out… On Friday night, Andy and I had an evening out with friends. We went out for dinner and the sun even came out enough for us to enjoy a drink outside before we went in to eat. We don’t really get a chance to go out like this together with friends, and it was a really lovely evening. Its something I would love to do more often.

Fathers Day… On Sunday it was Fathers Day and the weather was not looking that great. We headed to a nearby town and had a little wander around. Alice had got her pen licence at school on Friday and we brought her a pen and notebook as a well done. We had lunch out and then we found a park to wander around. Or in the case of the girls run around. It was really lovely.

Line Of Duty… We finished it! It was amazing and I can’t believe we don’t have it to watch anymore. It just got better and better. I really hope they are making another series and they hurry with it! I think we are going to start watching Killing Eve, after everyone raving about it.

Helping At School… This week I’ve been helping out a lot at the girls school, as they have outdoor activities going on and need additional adults. I love seeing the girls at school and its nice that I’m able to support the school too. It has meant me getting behind with my work and I have to remind myself that this is my job, and maybe I shouldn’t volunteer for everything.

My Birthday… It was my birthday on Wednesday. The girls were way more excited about it, than I was and along with Andy they gave me a lovely day. I was at the school for a couple of hours and got to spend time with Holly, which was nice. We also went for cake after school and Andy got back from London in time to join us. I was very spoilt.

This weekend…  We’re off to Legoland tomorrow and the girls are so excited, its our first trip this year and we can’t wait. It will then be a quiet day on Sunday to recharge the batteries.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
