My Little Snapshots…

Autumn has definitely arrived, and it was time to get out the boots this week. We had another lazy weekend and it didn’t stop raining all weekend. We originally had plans on Saturday, but we had to rearrange because of the weather. My parents came over Saturday afternoon and it was lovely to see them. The girls played games with them and we just sat and chatted.

On Sunday I had some time with Holly and Andy took Alice over to see his parents. Our weekends maybe simple, but they are just what we need right now.

Here is a little snapshot of my week…

Coffee with a Friend… I met up with a friend for coffee and it was nice to catch up properly. We went to a local garden centre and they have started to put out all the Christmas bits. I love looking around all the Christmas bits as they arrive in the shops. I’m not sure how much I will be doing that this year.

The Lounge… Over lockdown we had a move around and moved the girls play area. This created a new space for us, which is going to have a desk and a new seating area. We also decided to get a new sofa for the lounge. We moved a sofa from another room into the lounge, because we hardly used it where it is. We’re getting a new sofa that compliments this one and I can’t wait for it to arrive. It’s all taking a little while to arrive, because of Covid, but it will be worth it.

Christmas Plans… I booked a couple of Christmas days out for us and it’s really nice to have something to look forward too. I’m not sure what Christmas will look like at the moment, as no one knows what the rules will be by then. But I’m pleased we have something planned to do around that time.

Watching…We started to watch the new series of Married at First Sight. its easy watching and it always completely amazes me how people can marry someone they’ve never met!!! It’s crazy, but in the evenings its nice to have something to watch that doesn’t take much concentration. As I’m really tried most nights.

Juniors…I received details through this week about Holly going to the junior school next year. I can’t believe that Holly is in her final year of the infant school, it only seems like yesterday it was her first day of school. Luckily we’re able to have an opportunity to take Holly to look around and see the school.

This weekend… We’re catching up with some friends, which will be lovely. Other than that, it will be a weekend of walks and roast dinners.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
