When it comes to having plants in the garden, I’m not very good at remembering to water them. Its a standing joke in our house that plants come here to die. Well, not anymore thanks to the Plantpal automatic plant watering systems I’ve been sent to try out.
I was sent the Plantpal Watering/Irrigation System, which can be used on indoor or outdoor plants. The girls couldn’t wait to help me add it to one of our plant pots.
You need to make sure that it is positioned in the pot so that you can access the filler hole. Add soil and your plant into the pot. You can completely cover the rest of the Plantpal.
Water the soil throughly from the top to settle the soil. Then fill the Plantpal with water and continue to do this every 1-2 weeks. Which I’m sure even I can manage.
We were also sent Plantpal 3 watering globes to try out. The watering globes are also an automatic plant pot watering system for indoor plants. They’re really easy to set-up, you dip the capillary wick at the end of their spikes into water for five seconds to activate the moisture sensor, then fill the globe with water, screw the spike section onto the globe and push the spike into the soil of the plant.
That’s it, your plant will automatically be watered for up to 14 days. Which is ideal for when you go on holiday and don’t have anyone that can pop in to water your plants for you. I will be using them all the time, because I’m terrible at remembering to water my plants.
You only need one globe per plant pot and they look really nice in the plant pot. They come in different colours and can match your room theme. They are great to be used all year round and a brilliant present for any plant lovers.
You can buy Plantpal Watering System and Plantpal 3 Watering Globes both from Amazon.
I have a great giveaway for one lucky reader to win a Plantpal Water System. All you have to do to enter is head to the gleam below, it ends on 22nd August 2019. Good Luck!
